Cooking time: 10 minutes
- 1 packet vermicelli
- 4 green elaichi
- 1/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cup water
- 8 almonds (sliced)
Tip: For best results, use measuring utensils.
- Fry elaichi and vermicelli in oil on medium heat for 1-2 minutes (make sure they do not burn). Now add 2 cup water and 3/4 cup sugar and let it boil.
- Once it starts cooking, reduce the heat to very low and let it simmer till the water dries.
- Turn off heat. Dish out in a bowl and decorate with almonds.
