Dry sweet vermicelli

Cooking time: 10 minutes


  1. 1 packet vermicelli
  2. 4 green elaichi
  3. 1/4 cup oil
  4. 3/4 cup sugar
  5. 2 cup water
  6. 8 almonds (sliced)

Tip: For best results, use measuring utensils.


  1. Fry elaichi and vermicelli in oil on medium heat for 1-2 minutes (make sure they do not burn). Now add 2 cup water and 3/4 cup sugar and let it boil.
  2. Once it starts cooking, reduce the heat to very low and let it simmer till the water dries.
  3. Turn off heat. Dish out in a bowl and decorate with almonds.
