Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken (small pieces)
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
Mix all the ingredients and marinade chicken for 1/2 hour.
- 2 celery sticks (chopped)
- 1/4 cup red onion (chopped)
- 1/4 cup pickles (chopped)
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 3 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 red onion sliced
- 8 slices of tomato
- 4 large banana peppers (sliced into 8 long pieces
- salt and pepper per taste
Tip: For best results, use measuring utensils.
Method
- In a karahi, stir fey the marinated chicken on medium to high heat till the chicken is cooked and the moisture dries. Turn off the heat and transfer into an open face bowl. Let it cool.
- Add celery, chopped onion, pickles, mayo, mustard and almonds into the chicken. Mix well. Divide into 4 equal portions.
- Toast the subs. Spread one portion of chicken onto the sub. Add lettuce, tomato slices. Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the tomato slices. Add onion slices and banana peppers. Close and serve with french fries or crisps!
